The Gender and Civic Engagement Lab seeks to better understand what motivates individuals, and particularly women, to become involved in their communities and governments.

We are committed to doing careful social science research on civic engagement, and we have particular expertise in experimental methods. If you are a community organization who would like to partner with us in research, please contact Dr. Jessica Preece at jessica_preece@byu.edu
